Arsenal will look to book their place in the semi finals of the Carabao Cup when we take on West Ham at the Emirates this evening.
Arsene Wenger has once again made wholesale changes to his squad in the cup with all of his big guns rested ahead of Friday night’s Premier League showdown with Liverpool.
It’s a rare day as I successfully predicted the starting eleven in my match preview as David Ospina returns in goal while Mathieu Debuchy, Calum Chambers, Rob Holding and Sead Kolasinac make-up the back four.
Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny get another run out in midfield while youngster Joe Willock gets a rare chance to impress as he also gets the nod in the middle of the park.
Theo Walcott is fit to return in attack after recovering from a minor groin problem and he’s joined by Danny Welbeck while Olivier Giroud leads the line up front.
Here are the confirmed line-ups:
Arsenal
Ospina; Debuchy, Chambers, Holding, Kolasinac; Coquelin, Willock, Elneny; Walcott, Giroud, Welbeck
Subs: Macey, Sheaf, DaSilva, Reine-Adelaide, Nelson, Akpom, Nketiah
West Ham
Hart; Reid, Collins, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Obiang, Quina; Ayew, Masuaku; Chicharito
