Unai Emery has handed Carl Jenkinson his first Premier League start of the season as he lines-up along with Sokratis, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac in what appears to be a back three/five.
Matteo Guendouzi is recalled in midfield with Granit Xhaka dropping out of the squad while Mesut Ozil comes back in to the attack with Alex Iwobi only named on the bench after picking up an ankle problem at the weekend.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returns up front with Alexandre Lacazette dropping to the bench despite scoring on Sunday while Denis Suarez has to once again make-do with a place among the substitutes.
As for Bournemouth, they go with Gary Mousset up front alongside Joshua King with Dominic Solanke missing out. Jordan Ibe also starts in attack along with Ryan Fraser.
