Maurizio Sarri has handed Callum Hudson-Odoi his first Premier League start with the England youngster lining-up alongside Eden Hazard and Olivier Giroud – who are both recalled after being named on the bench for the win over Cardiff at the weekend.
Gonzalo Higuain and Willian drop to the bench while Pedro isn’t named in the match-day squad after picking up a knock. N’Golo Kante comes back in to the side after being rested last time out while Ruben Loftus-Cheek also starts in midfield. Jorginho keeps his place with Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic named as substitutes.
Chelsea have made a couple of changes in defence with Emerson Palmeiri replacing Marcos Alonso at left-back and Andreas Christensen comes in for Antonio Rudiger. David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta keep their places in the back four against Brighton this evening.
