[Tweets & Photos] Chelsea Players Celebrate Online After Thrashing Schalke
Cesar Azpilicueta, Oscar, Ramires, Willian and Didier Drogba all celebrated their latest victory on social media networks by posting photos and messages.
Chelsea booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a resounding 5-0 win over Schalke in Germany last night.
Goals from John Terry, Willian, Didier Drogba, Ramires and an own goal eased the Blues past Roberto Di Matteo’s men to ensure they not only qualify for the next phase, but do so as group winners.
The result continued Chelsea’s sensational early-season form so it’s no wonder the players were in good spirits after the game as Cesar Azpilicueta, Oscar, Ramires, Willian and Drogba all celebrated their latest victory on social media networks.
Azpilicueta took to Twitter to share a snap of him along with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois while Oscar posted a photo of him with his team-mates celebrating Terry’s opening goal.
Willian and Drogba chose Instagram to share their pictures of the Chelsea players on the plane en route back to London while Ramires dedicated his goal to a Brazilian samba group ‘Ofsamba’.
Here’s what the Blues players have been posting online over the past few hours:
