[VIDEO] Arsenal 3-1 Shrewsbury: “Sensational” Chamberlain Scores 20-yard Strike For Gunners

Arsenal came from a goal down to beat League 2 side Shrewsbury 3-1 tonight. Kieran Gibbs got his first senior goal for the club and summer loan signing Yossi Benayoun also got his first goal for Arsenal with the third. But it was youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who stole the headlines with a fine performance capped off with a thunderous 20-yard strike. Sky Sports reporter John Salako described Chamberlain’s performance as ‘sensational’. Watch extended highlights below…

    yeah but it was a 1st team player that cost us a goal!!

    someone needs to djoruou that you are ALLOWED to head the ball in your own penalty box – you would have thought he would have learnt from his mistake at old trafford to just simply head the ball clear!
