[TEAMS] Swansea vs Arsenal: Arteta Missing For Gunners

By on January 15, 2012

Arsenal face Swansea this afternoon hoping to take advantage of Tottenham and Liverpool’s slip-ups yesterday, with both sides only managing home draws against Wolves and Stoke respectively, and close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea. A win would put the Gunners four points clear of Liverpool, seven points behind third placed Spurs and just one point adrift of Chelsea.

Mikel Arteta misses out with a knee injury picked up in training yesterday, with Yossi Benayoun replacing him in the starting line-up. Thierry Henry remains on the bench with Andrey Arshavin keeping his place on the left. Here are the confirmed teams:

Swansea Team

Vorm, Rangel, Caulker, Williams, Taylor, Britton, Allen, Agustien, Dyer, Sinclair, Graham.

SUBS: Tremmel, Richards, Monk, Routledge, Sigurdsson, Moore, Lita.

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Djourou, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Miquel, Song, Ramsey, Benayoun, Walcott, Arshavin, Van Persie

SUBS: Almunia, Yennaris, Squillaci, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henry, Park

Wenger you will loose this match because instead of improving the team you are busy whinning and side shows. For once do something for amazing arsenal instead of always about you coz you are too full of yourself.
