[Video Goals] Adelaide 0-2 Liverpool: Milner & Ings On Target For Reds

Liverpool continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory over Adelaide United this afternoon with new signings James Milner and Danny Ings on the score-sheet.

Brendan Rodgers named a strong side for the game but after a strong start, the Reds struggled to break the hosts down and they went into the break level at 0-0.

Liverpool eventually found a way through after half time when Jordon Ibe’s cross from the right was turned in by Milner in the 56th minute.

The Merseysiders then secured the win thanks to a late second from Ings, who latched on to Nathaniel Clyne’s through-ball before rounding the keeper are slotting home for 2-0.

The win ensures Liverpool maintain their 100% winning record in pre-season ahead of their clash against a Malaysian XI on Friday.
