Pellegrini Makes 3 Changes: Predicted Man City Starting XI vs Liverpool

Manchester City will look to pick-up this seasons first piece of silverware when they take on Liverpool in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday. Here is the side we think Manuel Pellegrini will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Pellegrini has confirmed he plans to stick with number two goalkeeper Willy Cabellero for the final so Joe Hart is expected to drop to the bench.

Defence: Vincent Kompany trained separately from the rest of the first team on Friday morning but Pellegrini is hopeful he’ll be passed fit to start and he should line up alongside Nicolas Otamendi this weekend.

Pablo Zabaleta and Alexandre Kolarov should come back in to the starting eleven and replace Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy in the full back positions.

Midfield: With Fabien Delph out for the foreseeable future with a calf injury, Pellegrini is unlikely to make any changes to his midfield with Fernando once again lining-up alongside Fernandinho and Yaya Toure deployed in a slightly more advanced role.

Attack: Raheem Sterling also trained away from the first team this morning but the attacker is expected to line-up against his former club and should join David Silva and Sergio Aguero in attack at Wembley.

Here is how I think we’ll see City line-up:

BACK CITY TO WIN AT 7/1 OR LIVERPOOL AT 9/1 + MONEY BACK IF YOU LOSE

What do you think of the line-up? What would be your team?
