Pochettino To Make 2 Changes: Predicted Tottenham Starting XI To Face Monaco

Tottenham Hotspur return to the Champions League tomorrow night when they entertain Monaco at Wembley in their Group E opener. Here is the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris returned to the starting eleven against Stoke at the weekend after recovering from a hamstring injury that had kept him out since the opening weekend of the season so the Frenchman is expected to keep his place in goal with Michel Vorm on the bench.
Defence: Pochettino has confirmed that Danny Rose has once again been ruled out after failing to overcome a hamstring injury that he picked up during England’s World Cup qualifying win over Slovakia so Ben Davies will continue to deputise at left-back.
Otherwise, I think we’ll see a familiar back four with Jan Vertonghen continuing alongside Belgian team mate Toby Alderweireld in the middle of defence and Kyle Walker at right-back.
Midfield: Mousa Dembele is back in contention after missing the first four league games of the season through suspension and as long as the Belgian international is match fit, I think we could see him come in to the side tomorrow.
Victor Wanyama is the man most likely to make way as Eric Dier is expected to keep his place and will be in bouyant mood after signing a new long-term contract today. Moussa Sissoko is pushing to make his full debut but I think he’ll be among the subs again.
Attack: Erik Lamela is expected to be recalled after being rested for the 4-0 win at Stoke on Saturday following his late arrival back to London from international duty.
Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen are first team regulars so so Hueng-min Son could be the man to drop out despite the South Korean scoring twice against Stoke at the weekend.
Harry Kane will continue to lead the line up front with Vincent Janssen among the substitutes.
Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:
What do you think of the team? What would be your line-up?
