The Blues are without skipper John Terry so Antonio Conte has handed David Luiz his first start since the Brazilian international rejoined the club on deadline day.
Otherwise the hosts line-up in a familiar fashion with Oscar and Nemanja Matic in midfield along with N’Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas once again among the subs.
Jurgen Klopp has decided to recall Philippe Coutinho to the starting eleven with Roberto Firmino the man to make way as the Brazilian is ruled out with a minor groin strain.
Dejan Lovren comes back in to the back four after recovering from an eye injury with Lucas Leiva dropping to the bench.
