Manchester United will look to book their place in the fourth round of the League Cup when they take on Burton at Old Trafford this evening.

Jose Mourinho has made nine changes from the side that beat Everton with Marcus Rashford moving through the middle and Juan Mata keeping his place in attack.

Sergio Romero gets a chance to impress in goal while Daley Blind, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian get recalls in defence with Antonio Valencia, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Ashley Young rested.

Michael Carrick makes his first start of the season alongside Ander Herrera in midfield while Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard come in to the attack.

Romelu Lukaku is named on the bench alongside Marouane Fellaini, Luke Shaw and youngster Tommy McTominay.
