[Video Goals] Man Utd 4-1 Burton: Rashford Bags Brace As Utd Ease In To 4th Round

Manchester United eased in to the fourth round of the League Cup with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Burton Albion at Old Trafford this evening.

United started well and opened the scoring in the 5th minute as Michael Carrick found Jesse Lindard with a inch-perfect pass and his clever lay-off allowed Marcus Rashford to slot home for 1-0.

The young England international then doubled United’s advantage 12 minutes later as he fired home from outside the area before Lingard added a third before half-time following some lovely play from Anthony Martial.

The French international was in excellent form all night and got the goal his performance deserved as he slotted home from a Rashford pass for 4-0 midway through the second half.

Burton grabbed a consolation goal late on but United eased in to the draw for the fourth round thanks to a 4-1 victory.
