Arsenal vs West Brom Preview, Team News, Line-ups, Betting Tips & Prediction
Arsenal take on West Brom at the Emirates this evening. Here is a preview with team news, line-ups, betting tips and predicted score
Arsenal will be looking to close-in on the top four in the Premier League table when we take on West Brom at the Emirates this evening.
We currently sit 12th having lost two of our five league games so far this season but we can climb up to seventh and to within a point of fourth-placed Tottenham with a win tonight.
Last weekend’s impressive 0-0 draw at Chelsea showed the boys can compete against the best away from home but I expect we’ll face a very different test against West Brom at the Emriates.
Tony Pulis has a certain way of playing that has proven tricky for Arsenal to overcome in the past so we shouldn’t be taking anything for granted this evening.
The Baggies actually sit two places and one point above us in the table after losing just one game so far this season and they are a very well organised outfit so I’m expecting a tough game.
Team news
Mesut Ozil is back in contention after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of the last two games while Theo Walcott is expected to shake-off a minor knock that he picked up against Doncaster last week.
Danny Welbeck has been ruled out for a couple of weeks with a groin injury that he suffered at Chelsea while Francis Coquelin and Calum Chambers are also out.
Arsene Wenger is set to make wholesale changes to his starting eleven with the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and Alexandre Lacazette all pushing for recalls after being rested in the League Cup.
West Brom expect Chris Brunt to be available after recovering from a calf problem while Nacer Chadli and Oliver Burke will also be handed late fitness tests.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Arsenal 2-0 West Brom: We have an excellent recent record against West Brom at the Emirates as we’ve won our last six meetings and have conceded just once in those games. I do think they’ll be tough to break down and it should be a difficult match but hopefully we have enough to secure the three points tonight.
