Jose Mourinho and a 20-man squad flew out of Manchester airport this morning ahead of Manchester United’s Carabao Cup clash with Bristol City this evening.

The Red Devils head to Ashton Gate vying for a place in the semi finals and it looks like Mourinho is taking the opposition seriously as he’s taken a strong squad with him for the game.

As expected, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has travelled after Mourinho hinted the attacker would feature tonight having been frozen out of the United squad in recent weeks.

Mkhitaryan has been axed from eight of United’s last nine squad’s but the Armenian international is set to be handed a chance to resurrect his career at Old Trafford this evening.

Paul Pogba is also back in contention after serving a three-match suspension while youngsters Axel Tuanzebe, Kieran O’Hara, Scott McTominay and Joel Pereira are also in the travelling party.

Sergio Romero is expected to start in goal while the likes of Luke Shaw, Matteo Darmian, Victor Lindelof and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be hoping to start against the Championship side tonight.
