Chelsea Team News: Antonio Conte Confirms Duo Will Miss Arsenal Trip
Antonio Conte has confirmed two players will miss Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday night.
Chelsea will look to reclaim second spot in the table with a win when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.
Ahead of the game, Antonio Conte has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s given reporters a team news and injury update.
The Blues boss has confirmed that he has no fresh injury concerns to worry about following the west Londoners resounding 5-0 victory over Stoke City at the weekend.
However, the Italian coach will still be without two of his first team squad players with David Luiz and Charly Musonda still unavailable for selection for the short trip across London.
Luiz has been on the sidelines since suffering a knee injury in late November and the Brazilian international has been forced to miss the last ten games in all competitions.
The defender will now sit out the Arsenal game tomorrow but Conte is confident the centre-back could be back in contention for the FA Cup clash with Norwich City on Saturday.
Musonda has also been unavailable for selection in recent weeks due to a groin problem but again Conte is hopeful the young attacker will be able to return for the trip to Carrow Road this weekend.
Conte says David Luiz's physical condition has improved a lot in the last couple of days. 'He could be in contention for the Norwich game.'#ARSCHE

Chelsea head to the Emirates sitting third in the Premier League table but can leapfrog Man Utd in to second with a win tomorrow. They’ll take on an Arsenal side that are facing an injury crisis with Arsene Wenger set to be without six of his first team regulars.
