Malcom’s agent is due to arrive in England for talks with Liverpool and Tottenham over a deal to sign the £50m-rated Bordeaux attacker, according to Football London.
Malcom has developed in to one of the most exciting young attackers in Europe since joining Bordeaux from Corinthians two years ago and he provided 12 goals and 8 assists last season.
The 21-year-old is expected to go-on and become a senior international with Brazil having already represented his country at U23 level and his potential has caught the eye of clubs here in the Premier League.
Arsenal were strongly linked with a move for Malcom last summer and again in January when Alexis Sanchez left for Manchester United but their interest appears to have wavered.
However, two other English clubs are ready to step-up their pursuit as Football London claims that Malcom’s agent is flying to the UK to hold transfer talks with Liverpool and Tottenham.
The South American confirmed last week that he was keen to join an elite European club and it appears he could now now be offered the chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino has been promised a healthy transfer kitty after signing a new long-term contract at Tottenham and signing Malcom would certainly be a statement of intent from the north Londoners.
Liverpool are also in the market for another attacker this summer as Jurgen Klopp needs competition for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane next season and he still hasn’t replaced Philippe Coutinho following his move to Barcelona in January.
The Merseysiders have been strongly linked with Lyon’s Nabil Fekir but it seems Klopp is also eyeing Malcom and the Brazilian attacker would be an excellent addition to the Liverpool squad.

However, Bordeaux aren’t prepared to let their star man leave on the cheap as Football London claims they’ve placed a £50m price-tag on Malcom’s head so the likes of Liverpool and Spurs will have to be prepared to dig deep if they want to get a deal agreed.
