Arsenal came from 2-0 down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Tottenham in another eventful North London Derby at the Emirates this afternoon.

Arsenal started well but it was Tottenham who broke the deadlock as Christian Eriksen was on hand to tap home after Bernd Leno could only palm away an Erik Lamela shot in the 10th minute.

The Gunners pushed to find an equaliser but once again it was Tottenham who got the next goal as the visitors were awarded a 40th minute penalty after Granit Xhaka had made a reckless challenge in the area. Harry Kane made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-0 to Spurs.

However, Arsenal managed to pull one back before half-time as Alexandre Lacazette did superbly well to find space in to the area before lashing past Hugo Lloris at his near post to reduce the deficit to 1-2 at the break.

Arsenal dominated in the second half and eventually found an equaliser as the excellent Matteo Guendouzi found Pierre-Emerick with a superb ball and the Gabon hitman poked home for 2-2.

The Gunners pushed to find a late winner and saw a goal rightly ruled out for offside as Tottenham held on for a 2-2 draw as the spoils were shared at the Emirates.
