Liverpool Go Top……In U18s League
Liverpool’s positive week continued, with the Liverpool FC academy side bagging (yet) another victory against West Brom in the Premier League Academy League Group C
The reds comfortably won the tie 2-0 to move ahead of Everton with 4 games left to play and with a game in hand. Adam Morgan showed precisely why the future is bright down at Kirkwood (Liverpool FC Academy Training ground) with yet another goal, his 14th successive game with a goal.
Krisztian Adorjan opened the scoring as he fired Rodolfo Borrell’s men into a first-half lead, giving them more chances to open up the Baggies in the second half.
Their Academy Group include strong challenges including Everton, Manchester United and Manchester City thrown in amongst the mix. Manchester United are 5th and Manchester City are 4rd, Bolton splits the two Manchester Sides, being sandwiched in the middle.
Liverpool FC are currently level on points with rivals Everton, but are in the lead thanks to a vastly superior goal difference and even have an extra game in hand.
