Why Liverpool Should Keep Hold Of Danny Pacheco
Well, I personally am a fan of developing youth instead of splashing the cash for big name players all of the time, so it’s going to be quite interesting for me to watch how the Pacheco-Ayala deals turn out.
We’ve got to assess what we need, and that includes the players who have been out on loan
Kenny Dalglish, Liverpool FC Manager.
I guess now the question is: Do we need Pacheco and Ayala at the club? I mean Ayala has been making putting in good displays during his time at Derby County, whilst Pacheco is also making use of his loan time out at Norwich City after joining them on emergency loan after the transfer window shut in January.
A lot are talking about Ayala’s future potential at Liverpool, and many feel he’s a great talent, but I think that it is Pacheco that is the better player here. Well, before you judge and make comments on my opinion, let me at least explain my choice.
Remember against Unirea Urziceni in the Europa League? Where he managed to grab an assist in that game? Remember that selfless header to give David N’gog a practically open goal? Well, that’s why we need him there, to set up goals, to provide the extra link between the midfielders and the strikers.
The kid offers goals as well. People keep talking about Daniel Ayala’s amazing displays at the heart of defence for Derby County. But what about Pacheco’s time at Norwich City? The fact is, although he’s so often being used as a sub at Norwich, he has still grabbed 2 goals and a couple of assists in his short time there.
So why waste a talent? Should Liverpool sell him too early, they might just regret it.
