Patrice Evra pushed away Luis Suarez with visible contempt. It had been a frustrating game for Manchester United at Anfield, so perhaps the atmosphere and pressure had got to United’s captain. If only it had. Instead, according to the French left back, his attitude was more in disgust towards the Uruguayan attacker, with Suarez apparently making vile, racist remarks, repeated “more than ten times” at Evra in an attempt to wind him up.

Cheating is one thing – something Suarez is known for, thanks to his World Cup hand ball and constant dramatic dives all over the football pitch. However, racism is something completely different, and utterly abhorrent. He has only been in the Premier League for a short time, but has already managed to turn himself into a hate figure for many. If Evra’s accusations are proved to be correct, it will do nothing for his popularity.

Evra spoke to French TV Channel Canal Plus after the game against Liverpool which ended in a 1 – 1 draw. He was able to explain why he was so furious with Suarez during the game which resulted in the United man being yellow carded for his protests against the offending player. The United captain said:

“I was very upset. In 2011 you can’t say things like this. He knows what he said, the ref knows it, it will come out.”

“I won’t repeat what he said, but it was a racist word, and he said it more than ten times. He tried to wind me up. I won’t make a huge deal out of it, but it’s very upsetting and disappointing.”

Of course, allegations such as these will result in serious consequences for Suarez if they are proven to be true, and the FA have launched an investigation into the incident which is supposed to have occurred around the hour mark in the game. A Statement read:

“The Football Association have this evening been made aware of an incident that is alleged to have occurred during the Liverpool versus Manchester United fixture at Anfield today.”

“Referee Andre Marriner was made aware of an allegation at the end of the fixture and subsequently reported this to the FA. The FA will now begin making enquiries into the matter.”

Naturally, Liverpool immediately spoke to Suarez about the incident after finding out about the accusations after the game, with the club releasing the following:

“We have since checked with Luis Suarez and he categorically denies using any language that could be interpreted in that way.”

Evra, one word. Idiot. You had the whole game to make your case to the ref, yet you choose a media outlet to stake your claim. Screams of hypocrisy, “i don’t want to make a big deal of this” but your willing to make it on tv. Farking moron. Suarez made you look like a little bitch, running rings round you all day. And in your frustration you feel the need to publicly ostrecise the player who flogged you all game with suspicion of racial taunts, cuz you don’t have the ability to match his skill on the pitch. Fark off, go back to France, oh wait u can’t, they hate you there too… Idiot

In my opinion for what its worth. It just seems that every time United get outplayed another bigger story comes out to deflect any negativity coming towards them. it works for them though, Accentuate the positives and minimise the negatives. Good business plan. And make sure the press do the same?

At what point does absence of evidence become evidence of absence? Evra claims to have been abused 10 times, Liverpool against Man Utd is probably the biggest game in the Prem and is filmed by multiple cameras. If no evidence is found does this suggest there is no evidence to be found.

If the games was won by MU that day, this issue won’t be brought up. Another dirty trick…

Did’nt he (Evra) try this last season at the bridge claiming he was racially abused by a groundsman, subsequently it ended up him serving a ban because he was a lying toerag.
    Herewego again good observation point.

Just makes me hate Man U and Evra even more. He’s like a little kid who cries because he got taught a lesson by Suarez. He is quick to brandish the invisible card to get a player booked during the game but is unable to complain to the ref that he is supposedly being racially abused, which as he states happened in excess of 10 times!

Same old Utd, outplayed and outwitted so deflect the blame onto Suarez. Lets look at the evidence or lack of! Evra gets a roasting from Suarez most of the game, as does Ferdy. Ferdy constantly fouls and goes thru the back of players, he did this with Suarez trying to get a reaction. He then clips Adam to stop a goal scoring chance. Evra brandishes pretend cards everytime he loses a tackle and dives and cheats like no other. During the game Evra has more than enough opportunities to speak to the ref if Suarez has made racist comments, he opted not too. There were 20 outfield players on the pitch, 2 linesman and the ref yet not one person has come forward to back up Evra. I wouldn’t even guess at bhow many cameras were at the ground on Saturday, yet not one camera has picked it up? Suarez has been a professional player for a number of years and yet nobody has made these allegations before. Yet Evra has been involved in two other racist incidents and been kicked out the France squad. Suarez has been kicked from pillar to post since being in England, and especially by Utd, I rememeber Torres getting the same treatment at Old Trafford. This time around we have a strong manager in Kenny who will back the players to the hilt and Fergie doesn’t like it. Utd are beginning to show signs of cracking and Fergie with it. The truth will come out that Evra is a lying, cheating & diving git and the FA will ban him for at least 10 games, and the rest of the football world can’t wait to see Fergies sour gob when it happens!!

Disgusting show from Liverpool fans here, how can you condone racist comments? Cheating is within the law of real life (despite being immoral inside the game laws) but racism is not acceptable. Suarez should be banned from playing if these allegations are true.
