Alex Ferguson is a legend of football, the longest serving manager in top European football ever. But most of all, he is a hypocrite.
Recent weeks have been very hard for Luis Suarez. He was accused of racism by Patrice Evra, then called a diver by Ferguson. But I can’t help myself notice that this is something Ferguson has done many times. That it’s a shameless move to unsettle the in-form Liverpool striker.
Looking three years back, when Ronaldo was still playing for United, here are some comments from Ferguson regarding Ronal´s obvious diving:
“The fouls are frustrating, especially for Ronaldo, and I have nothing but admiration for the way he picks himself up and keeps running at people. Of course, when Ronaldo is running at full speed sometimes it doesn’t take much to knock him over but the truth is that too many opponents don´t know how to tackle properly. And to disguise their shortcomings they accuse him of falling deliberately.”
Doesn’t that mean that this happens to all the players in the league? Or at least the top ones? But no, Ferguson obviously thinks that it only happens to his players, and therefore dares to say this: “He dives all over the place.”
This comes from the mouth of the man that managed Ronaldo, and currently has Nani and Ashley Young in his team. All three having a tendency to fall over way too easily.
So there you have it Man United fans. Your beloved manager, a person that has been knighted, is a huge hypocrite.
