[Video] Andrey Arshavin Bags Trademark Assist As Zenit Batter Dynamo

Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin was in action for on-loan club Zenit St Petersburg yesterday helping them demolish Dynamo Moscow 5-1.

With the score already at 2-0 thanks to early strikes from Domenico Criscito and Aleksandr Kerzhakov, Arshavin then set up the third with a lovely through-ball for Sergey Semak who cooly slotted home. Kevin Kuranyi got one back for the home side, but further goals from Aleksandr Kerzhakov and a thunderous free kick from Szabolcs Huszti made it 5-1 to Zenit.

It’s nice to see Andrey getting into his stride so early for Zenit and it was a lovely assist, one which we’ve seen many times from him at Arsenal. He really is a master at those little through-balls. You can watch Arshavin’s assists here, with all the goals in the second video.
