Tottenham Hotspur’s proposed move for Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has hit a late snag, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs have already agreed a £12.3m fee with the Ligue 1 outfit, paying £8.7m up front and a further £3.6m in add ons.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed recently that the decision was now with the goalkeeper on whether he would join the north Londoners or stay in France. Aulas said:
“We were close to Tottenham and the decision is now up to Hugo, who must have had a number of contacts with the English club,”
“This transfer can be done at the end of the transfer window.”
“Would it be better for us to see him leaving? Since we have an objective to reduce the wage bill, this transfer enters in our programme,” Aulas continued.
“But if he stays here, we will be very happy.”

Everything was in place for the transfer to move ahead however, the Daily Mail are reporting today that Lloris has asked for more time to think over the switch.
The 25-year-old is understood to be disappointed by the terms offered to him by Tottenham but is still keen to play in the Premier League.
