[Teams] Man City vs Bayern Munich: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on October 2, 2013

Manchester City take on reigning champions Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium tonight.

City won their opening game 3-0 against Viktoria Plzen so will take control of Group D if they can collect all three points against Pep Guardiola’s men.

Manuel Pellegrini has opted to start Edin Dzeko up front ahead of summer signing Alvaro Negredo and the Bosnian is partnered by Sergio Aguero – who is recalled after missing Saturday’s defeat to Aston Villa.

Micah Richards starts at right back while David Silva returns to the squad but has to make do for a place among the subs. Here are the confirmed teams:

Man City

Hart, Richards, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy, Toure, Fernandinho, Navas, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko

Subs: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Lescott, Milner, Garcia, Silva, Negredo

Bayern Munich

Neuer, Dante, Rafinha, Boateng, Lahm, Alaba, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Ribéry, Robben, Müller.

Subs: Starke, van Buyten, Mandzukić, Shaqiri, Kirchhoff, Götze, Contento.

Are you happy with the team? Whats your predicted score for the game?
