[Video Goals] Tottenham 4-0 Newcastle: Spurs Ease Into Last Four

Tottenham Hotspur cruised through to the semi finals of the Capital One Cup with an impressive 4-0 win over Newcastle United at White Hart Lane this evening.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Nabil Bentaleb was on hand to acrobatically poke home after Ben Alnwick had spilled a corner and Nacer Chadli drilled in the second from the edge of the area just after half time.

Spurs all-but booked their place in the last four when Harry Kane fired home a left-footed finish in the 65th minute before Roberto Soldado got himself on the scoresheet, tapping into the empty net after Alnwick had parried Christian Eriksen’s shot.
