Manchester United will be looking to put Sunday’s defeat at Chelsea behind them when they entertain Manchester City at Old Trafford in the last-16 of the EFL Cup this evening.
Jose Mourinho has named a strong side with David De Gea, Antonio Valencia and Daley Blind all starting at the back while Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo come in with Chris Smalling and the injured Eric Bailly dropping out.
Wayne Rooney is left out of the squad entirely along with Henrikh Mkhitaryan while Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic keep their places in attack.
Pep Guardiola has made several changes for his team with Willy Caballero coming in between the sticks and youngster Pablo Maffeo starts in defence. Sergio Aguero is rested with Kelechi Iheanacho leading the line up front.
