[Video Goals] Man Utd 3-2 Southampton: Ibrahimovic Nets Winner As Utd Lift EFL Cup

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the hero once again as he scored a late winner to secure Manchester United the EFL Cup with a 3-2 win over Southampton at Wembley this afternoon.

After the Saints controversially had a goal ruled out for offside, United opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Ibrahimovic curled home a superb free-kick from 20-yards before Jesse Lingard doubled the Reds Devils advantage when he fired home in the 38th minute.

Southampton pulled one back when Manolo Gabbiadini tapped home from close range before the Italian hitman made it 2-2 with a stunning volley shortly after half time.

With extra time almost upon us, Ibrahimovic made himself the hero as he headed home from close range following a pin-point Ander Herrera cross in the 87th minute to win the League Cup for United.
