[Video Goals] Swansea 0-2 Man Utd: Lingard Double Books Quarter Final Spot

Manchester United booked their place in the quarter finals of the League Cup after beating Swansea City 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium this evening.

United started brightly and opened the scoring midway through the first half when Jesse Lingard found the bottom corner with a well-placed effort from the edge of the area in the 21st minute following a lovely flick from Marcus Rashford.

The England international was at it again after the break as Lingard headed home from 15 yards following a pin-point cross from Matteo Darmian to make it 2-0 in the 60th minute.

Swansea pushed to get themselves back in the game but United eased to a 2-0 victory in Wales to book their place in the quarter final draw tomorrow night.
