Manchester United will be looking to book their place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup when they take on Bristol City at Ashton Gate tomorrow night.
Here is the team I think Jose Mourinho will pick for the game:
Goalkeeper: David De Gea is expected to be given a rest with Sergio Romero coming in between the sticks having started in the previous rounds of the competition.
Defence: Mourinho is set to give the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Ashley Young a rest ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Leicester City so there will be changes at the back.
Antonio Valencia also limped out of the win at West Brom with a hamstring problem so he may join Eric Bailly on the sidelines with the Ivorian ruled out for at least two months following ankle surgery.
Matteo Darmian could get a rare run out at right-back while Luke Shaw should get another chance to impress on the opposite flank after featuring in two of United’s last three games.
Marcos Rojo is fresh after missing the last couple of matches with a head injury so he could join Victor Lindelof in the middle of the back four.
Midfield: Paul Pogba is back in contention after serving his three-match suspension so the French international is expected to get a recall and he could play in the advanced central midfield role tomorrow night.
Ander Herrera might keep his place in midfield with Marouane Fellaini still nursing a knee injury while youngster Scott McTominay could get another run-out in the middle of the park.
Attack: Mourinho is expected to freshen things up in attack so we could see Zlatan Ibrahimovic make his first start of the season with Romelu Lukaku given a breather.
Anthony Martial is likely to get a recall after being named on the bench against West Brom last weekend with Marcus Rashford the man expected to drop out.
Mourinho has confirmed that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to be recalled after falling out-of-favour in recent weeks so the Armenian should be keen to impress as he looks to save his United career.
Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata could make way but Mourinho has vowed to pick a strong squad so they could be named on the bench against the Championship side tomorrow night.
Here is how we think United will line-up:
