Man Utd Ready To Launch £133m Offer To Sign Man City Target – Mourinho Wants Deal Done
Manchester United are ready to launch a £133m bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco but will face stiff competition from Manchester City
The January transfer window in now closed so it’s time to look at those deals that didn’t get over the line and those being lined-up for the summer. Today, Man Utd are linked with Isco….
Manchester United are ready to launch a £133m bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco but will face stiff competition from Manchester City, according to a report by TeamTalk.
Isco made his name at Malaga but earned a move to the Bernabeu in 2013 and he’s helped Madrid win a whole host of honours including 1 La Liga title and 3 Champions Leagues.
The 25-year-old is enjoying a decent season having provided 5 goals and a further 4 assists in 19 league games despite Madrid enduring a difficult campaign that sees them trail leader Barcelona by a whopping 17 points.
Madrid boss Zinadine Zidane is expected to revamp his struggling squad this summer and Isco has been touted in the media as one of the players who will be sacrificed during the overhaul.
A move to the Premier League could be on the cards as TeamTalk are citing a report from Don Balon that claims Man Utd have identified Isco as a key summer transfer target.
Mourinho wants a playmaker to help boost his attacking options next season and the Spanish outlet says United are now ready to test Madrid’s resolve with a stunning £133m offer for Isco’s signature.
That would represent a club-record fee for United if they could get a deal agreed and Isco would form an exciting line-up alongside the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Alexis Sanchez next season if he moved to Old Trafford.
However, United will have to fend off some stiff competition as TeamTalk suggest that Man City are also showing a keen interest in Isco and are prepared to match their rivals offer if Madrid decide to cash-in.

We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming months but I think Isco would be a sensational signing if United or City were able to get a deal agreed this summer.
