The summer transfer window is open and managers are working hard on their transfer targets so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd have agreed terms with Alex Sandro…
Manchester United have agreed terms over a deal worth £4.4m-a-year with Alex Sandro ahead of a potential £53m move from Juventus, according to reports via TeamTalk.
Jose Mourinho has already made three new signings this summer with goalkeeper Lee Grant, right-back Diogo Dalot and midfielder Fred all arriving in recent weeks but the United boss is expected to make several further additions as he looks to build a squad capable of competing with Manchester City next season.
Left-back has been a problem area ever since Mourinho arrived two years ago as Luke Shaw is constantly being linked with a move after failing to establish himself as a regular while a long-term replacement is needed for Ashley Young – who turns 33 this month.
Sandro has been touted as a potential target in recent months after impressing since joining Juventus from Porto in 2015 and it looks like they’ve taken a huge step towards signing the South American star.
TeamTalk are citing The Times journalist Duncan Castles as saying that United have agreed personal terms with Sandro over a contract worth £4.4m-per-season ahead of a potential move to Old Trafford.
All that’s left is to agree a fee with Juventus but that won’t be easy as the report says the Italian champions are demanding around £53m for the Brazilian international’s signature this summer.
United have previously been reluctant to meet that valuation so it remains to be seen whether Mourinho will decide to pay what Juve are demanding in order to get the deal wrapped-up quickly or bide his time in the hope they lower their expectations.

We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming weeks but Sandro would be an excellent addition to the United squad if they could successfully lure him to Manchester this summer.
