[Video Goals] Huddersfield 0-2 Tottenham: Kane Bags Double As Spurs Go Fourth
Tottenham Hotspur moved in to the top four of the Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium today.
Harry Kane scored both goals as Tottenham Hotspur moved in to the top four of the Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium today.
Spurs started well and opened the scoring midway through the first half as Kane rose high to head home from 8 yards from a Kieran Trippier cross to give the north Londoners the lead.
Tottenham were then given the perfect chance to double their lead just minutes later as they were awarded a 33rd minute penalty after Danny Rose was brought down in the area. Kane stepped up and made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-0.
There was no way back from Huddersfield in the second half so Tottenham eased to a routine win that sees them leapfrog Watford in to fourth place in the table following their 2-0 defeat at Arsenal.
