[Teams] Southampton vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-Ups From St Mary’s
Chelsea will be looking to close in on the top two with a win when they take on Southampton at St Mary’s this afternoon.
Maurizio Sarri has made plenty of changes from the side that beat Vidi in the Europa League on Thursday night with Eden Hazard recalled in attack while Olivier Giroud replaces Alvaro Morata despite the Spaniard scoring the winner in midweek.
Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso all come in to the defence after being rested on Thursday while Jorginho and N’Golo Kante start in midfield with Cesc Fabregas and Ruben Loftus-Cheek making way.
Ross Barkley also starts with Mateo Kovacic on the bench along with Pedro as Willian is the man to keep his place in attack.
