Tottenham keen on beating Arsenal in race to sign Endrick

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on trumping Arsenal in the race to sign Real Madrid forward Endrick, as per Caught Offside.
After helping Spurs avoid relegation on the final day last term, Roberto De Zerbi splashed a huge amount of money last summer to turn the situation around.
Still, Tottenham endured a dire start this season. However, they have started showing improvement in recent days and have climbed up to eighth in the Premier League table with three consecutive victories. De Zerbi’s side are just three points behind fifth-placed Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Tottenham upgraded the flanks by purchasing Savio from Manchester City for a huge fee last summer, but he has struggled with fitness problems thus far this season.
So, it appears Tottenham have already started exploring options to strengthen the frontline next year, with Caught Offside stating that Tottenham have expressed their interest in Endrick.
Following the Brazilian’s struggles to find regular game time at Real Madrid, his agent has started exploring options to find a new suitable destination for him. Arsenal have even been contacted over a potential transfer in January, but they aren’t prioritising buying him.
Los Blancos still trust Endrick and don’t want to let him leave permanently. But he might be allowed to leave on loan in January to play regularly and develop his career.

The report state that Tottenham are showing stronger interest in the 20-year-old than Arsenal and are ready to sign him on a simple loan deal. Apart from Spurs, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also open to signing him on loan.
Manchester United and Liverpool previously held discussions over a deal to sign Endrick on loan with an option to make the move permanent.
Endrick is a left-footed striker but can provide cover on the right flank. Although he has failed to break into Real Madrid’s star-studded starting line-up, he previously showcased his qualities on loan for Olympique Lyonnais last season.
With Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres displaying inconsistent performances this season, Arsenal could do with signing a new forward.
So, Endrick could be a shrewd acquisition for Arsenal or Tottenham should either club eventually manage to secure his services.
