[Teams] QPR vs Chelsea: Terry & Ferdinand Both Start
Chelsea make the short trip to face rivals Queens Park Rangers in their fourth round FA Cup tie this lunchtime, here are the confirmed line-ups for the game.
Chelsea make the short trip to face rivals Queens Park Rangers in their fourth round FA Cup tie this lunchtime with all the pre-match talk centred around Anton Ferdinand and John Terry.
The Chelsea captain returns to Loftus Road for the first time since being accused of aiming racist language towards the QPR defender in October, for which Terry has since been charged.
Both clubs have called for the fans to show respect to the opposition players today, but worryingly Ferdinand was sent a bullet in the post yesterday, which is disgraceful to say the least. Hopefully Ferdinand won’t let it affect his game though.
Both players start for their respective clubs, but will there be a handshake between the pair? We’ll find out shortly. Here are the confirmed line-ups:
QPR Team
Kenny, Hill, Hall, Mackie, Ferdinand, Buzsaky, Barton, Young, Smith, Helguson, Wright-Phillips.
SUBS: Cerny, Orr, Derry, Hulse, Ephraim, Macheda, Onuoha
Chelsea Team
Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Meireles, Malouda; Sturridge, Torres, Mata.
SUBS: Turnbull, Bosingwa, Bertrand, Cahill, Essien, Romeu, Lukaku.
Well have all the goals from the game shortly after the final whistle, so check back later.
