Liverpool attacker Jordon Ibe has posted a photo of his knee in a brace and vowed to return ‘stronger’ then ever after suffering an injury set-back last week.
Ibe has been in impressive form since returning from his loan spell at Derby County earlier this year and had established himself as an important part of Brendan Rodgers starting eleven.
However, the 19-year-old was forced off late on during the Reds disappointing Europa League exit at the hands of Besiktas in Turkey last week and he was subsequently left out of the squad that beat Manchester City on Sunday.
It soon emerged that Ibe had damaged knee ligaments and is expected to be out for up to a month meaning he’ll miss a crucial stage in Liverpool’s campaign as the Merseysiders look to push for the top four and qualify for the semi finals of the FA Cup.
The youngster has now taken to Instagram this evening to upload a photo of his knee in a brace as he’s sat in what appears to be a taxi, with a message saying he’ll be ‘back stronger’ after his set-back.
