[Teams] Liverpool vs Blackburn: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on March 8, 2015

Liverpool will be looking to book their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup when they take on Blackburn Anfield this afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers will continue to be without skipper Steven Gerrard as he has failed to recover from a hamstring injury.

It appears Emre Can may move into midfield alongside Jordan Henderon as Joe Allen isn’t in the squad. Glen Johnson starts for the first time since January, so he could replace Can in defence alongside Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren with Mamadou Sakho named on the bench.

Daniel Sturridge leads the line with Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho in support while Lazar Markovic and Raheem Sterling should start in the wing-back roles.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Liverpool

Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson, Markovic, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge

Subs: Ward, Toure, Lambert, Moreno, Sakho, Balotelli, Williams

Blackburn

Eastwood, Henley, Baptiste, Kilgallon (c), Olsson, Marshall, Evans, Williamson, Conway, Cairney, Gestede.

Subs: Steele, Spurr, Brown, Rhodes, Taylor, Henry, Lenihan.
