Tottenham will look to cement their place in the top four when they take on Sunderland at White Hart Lane Saturday afternoon. Here is team news and the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris is certain to keep his place in goal after another superb performance against Leicester last night.
Defence: Pochettino is set to make one change to the back four that started against the Foxes with Danny Rose coming in for Ben Davies at left-back. Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker should all keep their places in defence.
Midfield: Pochettino has confirmed on TottenhamHotspur.com that Ryan Mason is still unavailable but Mousa Dembele made his comeback with an appearance off the bench last night so he could be recalled to the starting eleven on Saturday with Tom Carroll dropping out.
Eric Dier has made the holding role his own in the Spurs midfield this season so he should continue in that role on Saturday with the likes of Nabil Bentaleb once again among the subs.
Attack: Spurs may have drawn a blank in Wednesday night’s loss to Leicester but they were unfortunate not to score so I can’t see Pochettino making too many changes in attack. Therefore, Dele Alli, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen should support Harry Kane up front.
Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:
What do you think….what eleven would you put out for the game?
