Leicester vs Liverpool Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Liverpool take on Leicester at the King Power this evening. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score
Liverpool will look to continue their top four push when they take on league leaders Leicester City at the King Power this evening.
The Reds have endured a gruelling schedule of late and added yet another replay to their fixture list after being held to a 0-0 draw by West Ham in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
But the players must turn their attention to league matters tonight and Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to build some momentum after beating Norwich City 5-4 in a thriller at Carrow Road last weekend.
That win saw Liverpool climb to seventh in the Premier League table and to within eight points of fourth-placed Tottenham so they need to secure a positive result this evening in order to keep in touch with the top four.
However, it’s not going to be easy as they face a Leicester side who have surprised everyone this season with Claudio Ranieri’s men currently sitting three points clear at the top of the table after a sensational first half to the campaign.
Th Foxes title credentials are certainly going to be tested this month as they take on Manchester City and Arsenal following tonight’s clash with Liverpool, so Ranieri will be keen to get some points on the table heading in to this pivotal run of games.

Team news
Liverpool are set to make wholesale changes to their starting eleven after several of the first team regulars were rested in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Jordan Henderson, Emre Can, Mamadou Sakho, Alberto Moreno, Adam Lallana, James Milner and Roberto Firmino are among those who are expected to be recalled tonight.
Dejan Lovren could keep his place at the back after making a successful return from injury but Steven Caulker is likely to drop out after making his full debut against the Hammers.
Daniel Sturridge, Martin Skrtel, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi are all due back in full training this week but this game will come too soon.
As for Leicester, they have no fresh injury worries to contend with and hope to have Jeff Schlupp back from a hamstring injury.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Leicester 1-1 Liverpool: Inconsistent form has plagued Liverpool all season but when on song, they can be a match for anybody in the league. Leicester are flying high and will no doubt cause plenty of problems for the visitors, but I can see Klopp’s side earning a decent point.
Betting Tips
The bookmakers are struggling to separate these two teams but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 9/1 on a Liverpool win – just click here to take advantage of this limited time offer . My prediction of 1-1 is available at odds of 11/2 while I also like the look of Firmino to open the scoring at 6/1. If you combined those two bets in a score-cast then we get very tempting odds of 35/1.
