[Video Goals] Leicester 2-0 Liverpool: Vardy Stunner Sinks Reds

Leicester City remain top of the Premier League after a hugely impressive 2-0 victory over Liverpool at the King Power on Tuesday night.

After a goalless first half, the league leaders opened the scoring in spectacular fashion when Jamie Vardy volleyed home from 25-yards in the 60th minute.

The England international was at it again as he made it 2-0 just 12 minutes later when he latched on to a cross from the right before cooly slotting past Simon Mignolet following some poor Liverpool defending.

The visitors couldn’t find a way back in to the game so Leicester eased to a 2-0 victory which sees them maintain their 3-point advantage over Manchester City after they beat Sunderland 1-0.

Liverpool on the other hand drop to eighth and Jurgen Klopp’s men are now eleven points off fourth place so the have a mountain to climb if they’re to qualify for the Champions League.
