Managers are now making plans for the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd and Tottenham are linked with Bruma…
Representatives from Manchester United and Tottenham have flow to Turkey to hold talks with Galatasaray over a possible £12.5m deal to sign Bruma, according to a report in the Express.
The 22-year-old came through the Sporting Lisbon youth ranks before joining Gala in 2013 after after spending time on loan at Real Sociedad, the youngster has established himself in the first team this season.
Bruma has developed in to one of the hottest young talents in Turkish football having scored 10 goals and provided a further 8 assists in his 33 appearances so far.
However, his future at Galatasaray is in serious doubt as he’s fallen out with boss Igor Tudor and was one of four players who boycotted a training session this week in protest against the manager.
The Express cite a report from Turkey that claims Man Utd and Tottenham have been showing a keen interest in signing Bruma after sending scouts to watch him in action this season.
But the latest development appears to have accelerated proceedings as the newspaper says representatives from United and Spurs have flown out to Istanbul to hold talks with Galatasaray over a potential deal for Bruma.
Jose Mourinho is expected to be active in the transfer market this summer as he looks to build a squad capable of challenging for the title next season and the United boss needs to add flair to his attack with a lack of creativity in the final third undermining their campaign.
However, Mauricio Pochettino is also in the market for attacking reinforcements as Spurs prepare for their return to the Champions League and Bruma is also seemingly on his radar.
The Portuguese under-21 international has just one year remaining on his current contract and as he’s refusing to sign an extension, the Express suggest that Gala are willing to accept a fee of just £12.5m.

That sort of money sounds like a bargain for a player of Bruma’s potential so I think he’d be a superb signing for either United or Spurs if they could get a deal agreed.
