Man Utd Submit Huge £92m Attacker Bid, Club Considering Deal
Manchester United have submitted a whopping £92m bid for Gareth Bale and Real Madrid are considering whether to cash-in on the attacker this summer
Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the final days of the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd make a move for Gareth Bale…
Manchester United have submitted a whopping £92m bid for Gareth Bale and Real Madrid are considering whether to cash-in on the attacker this summer, according to a report in the Express.
Bale’s future at the Bernabeu has been called in to question in recent weeks with speculation suggesting Madrid are ready to sell the attacker due to on-going concerns over his fitness.
The Welsh international endured a frustrating campaign last season as injury restricted him to making just 26 starts and he was benched for the Champions League final win over Juventus.
The rise of Marco Asensio and Isco has put Bale’s starting position under huge pressure and with Madrid also heavily linked with Kylian Mbappe, there are suggestions they could see the former Tottenham star as dispensable.
The uncertainty has alerted United as the Red Devils have been linked with Bale in recent months and it looks as though they may now have formalised their interest as we head in to the final stages of the transfer window.
The Express are citing a report from Don Balon that claims United have tested Madrid’s resolve with a whopping £92m offer as they look to try and lure Bale to Old Trafford before Thursday’s deadline.
Interestingly, the Spanish publication suggests that Madrid are now giving serious consideration to selling the Welsh super-star as they see this as a great opportunity to secure a huge fee before the 28-year-old’s value starts to drop.
Bale has been a huge success since making an £86m move from Tottenham four years ago as he’s helped Madrid win three Champions League’s and a La Liga title but it looks like there’s a chance he could be heading back to England this summer.
Jose Mourinho has admitted he’s still looking to bring in a wide attacker before the close of the window and Bale would be a sensational coup if they could secure a deal.

We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming days but I’d love to see Bale come back to the Premier League so hopefully United manage to persuade Madrid to cash-in.
