Man Utd Hoping To Sign Champions League Winner By Offering £300k-A-Week Deal
Manchester United are eyeing a big-money swoop for Casemiro and are ready to offer the Real Madrid midfielder a bumper contract worth £300,000-a-week
The transfer window may be closed but clubs are still working hard ahead of January and next summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd are linked with Casemiro….
Manchester United are eyeing a big-money swoop for Casemiro and are ready to offer the Real Madrid midfielder a bumper contract worth £300,000-a-week, according to a report by TeamTalk.
Casemiro joined Madrid from Sao Paulo in 2013 and has developed in to one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe since breaking in to the first team two years ago.
The 25-year-old is now a regular under Zinedine Zidane and played a key role in helping Madrid land consecutive Champions League trophies over the past two seasons.
It seems his performances have alerted two other European super-powers as TeamTalk are citing a report from the Manchester Evening News that claims Man Utd are ready to do-battle with Paris Saint-Germain over his signature.
United and PSG are two of the biggest spending clubs in the world so even the mighty Real Madrid will have their metal tested if they come knocking with big-money offers.
Casemiro hasn’t given any indication that he’s unsettled at the Bernabeu, however, the report says United are ready to tempt him with a huge contract offer worth £300,000-a-week in order to try and lure him to Old Trafford.
That sort of money would make Casemiro one of the highest earners in European football so the Brazilian international could be tempted if United were able to strike a deal with Madrid.
Jose Mourinho is currently enduring something of an injury crisis in midfield with Marouane Fellaini, Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick all out injured so he could be looking to bolster his ranks next summer.
Carrick is also set to end his illustrious career at United when his contract expires at the end of the season so Mourinho could be eyeing Casemiro as a long-term replacement for the 35-year-old.

We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming months but I think Casemiro would be an excellent signing if United could somehow pull it off.
