Chelsea Team News: Conte Offers Update On Kante/Moses Ahead Of Man Utd Game
Antonio Conte has offered an update on the fitness of N’Golo Kante and Victor Moses ahead of Sunday’s clash with Man Utd.
Chelsea will be looking to close-in on the top three with a win when they take no Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of the game, Antonio Conte has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s provided a team news and injury update.
The Blues boss gave an encouraging update on the fitness of N’Golo Kante after saying the French international midfielder is ‘progressing well’ in his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Kante has missed the last six games in all competitions after picking up the injury while on international duty but Conte says he’ll make a late decision over his involvement against United.
The Chelsea manager had a less positive update on Victor Moses as the winger has once again been ruled out of action against United this weekend as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury.
Moses has missed Chelsea’s last five games after sustaining the hamstring issue during the defeat to Crystal Palace last month and it looks like the Nigerian star will be targetting a return to action after the international break.
Conte told reporters today:
Antonio Conte reports N'Golo Kante is progressing well and after tomorrow, the decision will be made on his involvement versus Man United.

It would be a major boost for Chelsea if Kante is passed fit to face United as his absence in the middle of the park has been sorely felt over the past month.
The defending champions head in to the weekend action sitting fourth in the table but they can move to within just one point of second-placed United with a win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
