Man Utd, Liverpool Or Spurs? Pundit Claims Deal Has Been Agreed For £50m Star
Leroy Rosenior believes a deal has been agreed for £50m-rated star Ryan Sessegnon to leave this summer amid interest from Man Utd, Liverpool and Tottenham
The January transfer window in now closed so it’s time to look at those deals that didn’t get over the line and those being lined-up for the summer. Today, the latest on Ryan Sessegnon…
Pundit Leroy Rosenior believes a deal has already been agreed for £50m-rated Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon to leave this summer amid interest from Man Utd, Liverpool and Tottenham, according to a report by TeamTalk.
Sessegnon has emerged as one of the hottest prospects outside of the Premier League after coming through the youth ranks at Fulham since joining the club as a youngster.
The 17-year-old enjoyed a break-through campaign last season that saw him score 7 goals in 31 appearances from left-back and he’s continued to impress this year since establishing himself in the first team.
The young wing-back has been playing further forward this campaign and has netted 12 times in 32 appearances while he’s also represented England at U19 youth level with 4 goals in 19 caps so far.
Sessegnon’s potential has attracted plenty of interest from the Premier League with TeamTalk claiming that Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are all chasing the teenager.
The trio have all been strongly linked with Sessegnon over the past year but Fulham won’t let their star man leave on the cheap as the report suggests they value him at around £50m.
The battle for Sessegnon’s signature was expected to hot-up over the coming months, however, Rosenior claims a deal has already been for the youngster to leave Fulham with Spurs seemingly favourites.
Rosenior is quoted by TeamTalk as saying on the Totally Football Show:
“I think that a deal has been done for Ryan as teams have been in for him. It’s a Premier League side with strong rumours of Tottenham. I wouldn’t be surprised if other sides have been in for him as well.
“He’s stays at Fulham before moving in the summer. His future is already mapped out.
“Ryan has great potential. He is one of those players who you think he’s not a left-back and not a left-winger. He could be an amazing player.”
Rosenior made over 100 appearances for Fulham during his playing career while his son, Liam, also represented the Cottagers so he could have some inside information to support his claims.
