[Video Goals] Arsenal 2-0 Everton: Lacazette Nets Stunner As Gunners Close On Top 4

Alexandre Lacazette scored a stunner as Arsenal moved to within just one point of the top four with a 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates this afternoon.
We made a slow start once again as Everton were the more threatening of the two sides during the first half and we were perhaps fortunate to go in to the break level at 0-0 with Petr Cech making some great saves to deny the visitors.
However, we improved after the break and opened the scoring in emphatic style as Alexandre Lacazette curled home a stunning effort in to the top corner from 18 yards to make it 1-0 in the 56th minute.
We didn’t take long to double our advantage but the goal was hugely fortunate as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in an offside position when he finished from an Aaron Ramsey’s flick but the linesman failed to spot it so the goal stood.
Both sides had chances to add to the scoreline but there were no more goals so Arsenal secured a 2-0 win and our first clean sheet of the season to move to within just one point of fourth-placed Watford.
