Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will have to make-do without three players for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Tottenham will look to bounce back from their humiliating defeat to Bayern Munich when they take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

Ahead of the game, the club have issued a team news and injury update and confirmed boss Mauricio Pochettino will be without the services of three players for the trip to the south coast this weekend.

Giovani Lo Celso is still recovering from a hip injury that he sustained while away with the Argentina squad during the September international break so he’ll miss out against Brighton. However, Tottenham say Lo Celso is now entering the final stages of his rehabilitation so he shouldn’t be out for too much longer.

Summer signing Ryan Sessegnon is yet to make his debut for Tottenham since arriving from Fulham in August carrying a hamstring injury. The versatile winger has been stepping-up his recovery work and is close to being available for selection but this weekend’s trip to Brighton will still come too soon.

The final player who’ll miss out this weekend is Serge Aurier as the Ivory Coast international will serve a one-game suspension following his sending off for two bookable offences against Southampton last weekend.

Tottenham suffered no fresh injury worries during the 7-2 humiliation against Bayern in midweek so Pochettino’s squad is in good health as they look to get their season back on track with a win at Brighton.

Spurs head into the weekend action sitting sixth in the Premier League table after edging out Southampton last weekend but they can move into the top four with victory at the Amex Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
