By on December 1, 2019

Manchester United get back to Premier League action when they take on Aston Villa at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made wholesale changes from the inexperienced side that lost to Astana in the Europa League with David De Gea returning in goal while Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof all get recalled in the back four.

Brandon Williams gets another chance to impress at left-back as he replaces Luke Shaw – who drops to the bench – while Fred and Andreas Pereira get recalls in midfield with James Garner making way. Scott McTominay remains out with an ankle problem.

Juan Mata makes a start for Man Utd as he joins Daniel James and Marcus Rashford in the starting eleven while Anthony Martial leads the line up front after they were all rested in Europe in midweek.

Solskjaer has selected youngster Mason Greenwood for a spot on the bench where he’s joined by Jesse Lingard, Axel Tuanzebe and Ashley Young.
