The Daily Mail has reported that Manchester United have officially completed the signing of Spanish shot stopper David De Gea.
Reports have been circulating that Manchester United had a £17.8 million pound bid for the young goalkeeping prodigy accepted and that De Gea will pen a five year deal with the current Barclays Premier League leaders. But in contrary to those reports, some websites have reported otherwise, that De Gea has even said that he hasn’t held ANY talks with the Red Devils, with him claiming that:
There is nothing, it is all lies. I know nothing about offers from any team, whether it is other clubs or a renewal from Atletico.
But the fact is that Athletico Madrid are struggling financially and seem resigned to losing their prized asset in the summer.
