Gareth Bale: 36.9 km/h
Bale is the fastest player in the world according to research by Pachuca Club. As of 2019, no footballer has managed to beat Gareth’s record. In the 2018/19 season, Bale played 39 games, scored 14 goals and made 5 assists.
Kylian Mbappé: 36 km/h
Paris Saint-Germain, France national team
On 9 December 2017, Mbappé scored a goal against Lille in the 93rd minute of the match. Kylian ran half the length of the pitch at a peak speed of 44.7 km/h and an average speed of 36 km/h. Mbappé is a world champion and the best young player of the 2018 World Cup. In the 2018/19 season, he played 39 games, scored 33 goals and made 17 assists.

The highest score in football history – 149:0
And in the very next game between Adema and Stade Olympique L’Émirna (SOE), fans witnessed a new world record for the number of goals scored. The SOE players, receiving unexpected instructions from their coach, began scoring goals into their own net from the first minute of the game, thus expressing their protest.
The Adema players, who had already become champions, simply stood aside and watched their opponents’ actions.
A total of 149 goals were scored during the match, with the final score recorded as 149:0. The Stade Olympique L’Émirn players scored an own goal every 36 seconds!
This result went down in football history as the highest score in an official match.

In 1937, a match was interrupted due to fog.
But the goalkeeper stood in goal for another 15 minutes, unaware of this.
And so the game continued. At least, that’s what Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Sam Bartram thought.
He honestly guarded the goal, peering into the fog: the figures of players with the ball were about to appear, and he would have to defend his territory. But the figures did not appear. In fact, it was unusually quiet on the field.
So, in a state of maximum concentration and tension, Sam stood for about 15 minutes, during which time the photo was taken.

The fastest goal in football was scored 3.67 seconds after the start of the match.
In 1995, Damien Mori, a forward for the Australian team Adelaide City, scored a goal that entered the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest in football history. The Australian striker with Slovenian roots immediately after the starting whistle made a quick pass with his teammate and powerfully shot at the goal. After the match, experts analysed the recording of the game and determined that the ball crossed the goal line 3.67 seconds after the start of the match.
